Juno Goto Museum of Art
The beauty of Japan, the heart of Japan, and the hearts of Goto are struck by Juno Goto's artwork
This museum exhibits works painted by Juno Goto, a leading painter in Japan’s art world, using natural rock paints such as pure gold and lapis lazuli. In addition to works depicting China, including the 14-meter-wide “Sea of Clouds and Yellow Mountains and Rain Clear”, about 130 works depicting Europe, Japan’s Yamato Road, and Hokkaido are on display. Museum goods such as art books, solo exhibition catalogues, postcards, colored paper, and one-stroke writing are also sold. On the second floor, there is a restaurant called “Furano Grill” where you can enjoy dishes made with local ingredients while looking at the scenery of the Tokachidake mountain range and hilly areas.
