Palette Hills
A hill overlooking the Daisetsuzan Mountains. The "Hometown Forest" spreads out with the colors of the four seasons
It is a forest of relaxation with the wish of “a hill that creates natural changes in the four seasons just as various colors are created on the palette”. From the observation deck, you can see a spectacular view of the majestic Daisetsuzan mountain range. Especially around May, the entire hill is decorated with cherry blossoms in full bloom, and events such as “Sakura Festa” and “Night Cherry Blossom Illumination” are held, attracting many people. Facilities such as a park golf course and campsite are also maintained, and it is a “hometown forest” that can be enjoyed by both children and the elderly in nature, such as walking, experiential learning, and stargazing, in nature where the chirping of hares and larks resonates.
