Daisetsuzan National Park Asahidake Visitor Center
In addition to disseminating information about Mt. Asahidake, autumn leaves picking and tours for beginners are also held!
Mt. Asahidake, which is home to many valuable plants and animals such as Ginzan mashiko and Ezo chipmunks, is the main peak of Daisetsuzan Mountain and is popular among climbers as well as photography enthusiasts.
The Asahidake Visitor Center opened in June 2019 as a place to disseminate information about Daisetsuzan National Park, such as tours and how to enjoy the surrounding nature!
Through activities such as providing the latest information and tour guidance, we support people who enjoy mountain climbing and outdoor activities from a safety perspective so that they can better understand and experience the nature of Daisetsuzan Mountain.
The Daisetsuzan Asahidake Ropeway is a 1-minute walk away, and there are hot spring facilities scattered around the center. You can also enjoy hot spring bathing after climbing and strolling.
