Ayako Miura Memorial Museum of Literature
The Literature Museum surrounded by a grove of trees in Japan's oldest foreign tree species sample forest, which was the setting for his masterpiece "Freezing Point"
Ayako Miura was born in Asahikawa and left behind many works such as “Freezing Point” and “Shiokari Pass”. I want you to come into contact with Miura literature that questioned “how people live” and find food for the soul by learning more deeply about their thoughts… It is a private and private literature museum established with the wish to do so. Immerse yourself in the literary world of Ayako Miura by taking a walk in the “Freezing Point” stage, a walk in the foreign tree species sample forest, and relaxing in the café and forest bathing on the attached wooden deck terrace, as well as the materials of the main building and the “Oral Writing Study” that has been relocated and restored to the branch library.
